Tamara-Anna Cislowska has graced the great concert halls of the world, shared her innate sensitivity and interpretive powers with the finest orchestras and received critical acclaim for her numerous musical recordings. She is one of Australia’s foremost pianists, winner of many awards both here and overseas including the 2015 ARIA Award for ‘Best Classical Album’.

Her recent recording of Peter Sculthorpe’s complete piano works which earned 5 star reviews in BBC Music Magazine, and described as “Australian piano gold”, in Limelight magazine and Fine Music magazine.

Last year Tamara-Anna was resident artist for the Darwin Festival, toured to France and gave numerous solo recitals across the country.
She embarked on a national tour with composer and pianist Elena Kats-Chernin to Melbourne Recital Centre, Sydney’s Concourse and Riverside Theatres and several festivals around the country including Musica Viva’s Huntington Festival.

Tamara has recently joined acclaimed composer Elena Kats-Chernin in recording a selection of Elena’s compositions for piano. The title piece, Butterflying, conjures a night flight while dreaming and a journey of fantasy.  Arranged for four hands and one piano, Elena and Tamara-Anna will be performing Butterflying at the 2017 Bellingen Music Festival.
